Galaxia Mortem

Humanity has expanded into the galaxy. Our success has bred the apex predator we can never outsmart: one of us.

Book I: The Disk Mirror Solution

Tech-loving Armintor is just a week away from receiving her first cranial implant. Disaster strikes her homeworld, crushing her dreams and flinging her to a cruel technophobe planet.

Apprentice forger Redcholate works in the galaxy’s intel-hub. After a mysterious client offers her a fortune to find impossible intel, she uncovers more than she ever wanted to know.

They are both thrust into a confrontation they don’t want and aren’t prepared to survive.

Each woman realizes she alone can save humanity. Only one can be correct.

Book II: The Voyage of the Norm Bissonnette

Forced to go on a cringey space cruise by her vindictive ex-boss, Redcholate Parise soon has another dismal revelation: Armintor, her creator, has been hiding for three years in their shared cranial embed, and now she wants her body back.

Armintor Vess forces Redcholate’s personality into a locked file in their cranial embed. Now all she has to do is take revenge on the Butcher for murdering her mentor… as soon as she figures out which space cruise passenger it is. But she finds herself unable to plan, to strategize, to enforce her will. All those traits she gave to Redcholate when she created the persona are lost, and she’s now only half a person.

Each night, Redcholate escapes from the locked file after Armintor falls asleep. Her creator considers her a non-person, and would kill her without a second thought. But Redcholate is desperate to live. And if Armintor has to die for that to happen, well, what’s good for the construct is good for the creator.

By day, Armintor investigates her fellow passengers. Redcholate infiltrates the seedy underbelly of the ship’s society by night. Each has her own obsession for finding the Butcher. But they must realize just how much they need each other before the Butcher finds them first.
